Things always fall into place. When you least expect it, everything will start making sense. You can pray or ask the universe for answers all you want, but you’ll never hear the answers if you don’t shut up and listen.

Instead of being cautious, try going out of your comfort zone once in a while. Maybe what you’re looking for is outside the box you’re living in. Awkward, weird, and unexpected situations are temporary, so don’t be afraid of them. Allow yourself to be in uncomfortable positions (I can hear the Longnecks* laughing after reading this line) and, if things don’t go well, learn from it. Speaking from experience, things always get better. But you can’t just sit there and expect them to get better, okay? You have to work to make things better. 

Opportunities don’t whisper; they bang on your door, scream at your face, run you over when you cross the street. Whatever the case, the opportunities that you were intended to take will never ride with you in the same train and sit beside you just to throw suggestive looks your way. No, it will walk up to you, scream into your ear, rip your arm off, flash you; it will do everything it can to make you notice it. If after all that you still choose to ignore it, it will walk away. But don’t fret, another one will come by and you better be ready to catch that boulder from the sky when it falls.

Quit being afraid. Catch everything until you’ve got blisters on your hands or until your hands fall off. Seriously, if you were a book, wouldn’t you feel bad if your owner just left you on the shelf with the plastic cover still wrapped tightly around you? Weird analogy is weird.
